When an Investor joins a fund, an investment account is opened. This account tracks the Portfolio Manager’s (PM) trades within the fund. The current value within the investment is known as investment equity.
This is the sum of the initial investment amount and trading results of all orders, excluding paid fees and other withdrawals. Here’s how it is calculated:
Investment Equity = Investment amount + Investment orders (Profit or Loss) - Fees paid - Sum of distributed profit
