After Investors have downloaded the Exness Investor app, completed their profile verification, and made the first deposit into their investment account, they may wonder how to make an investment and get going.
Exness Investor facilitates two types of investments; either Investors can copy orders made by other traders (Strategy Provider) with an investment in a strategy, or Investors have trades managed by a single trader (Portfolio Manager) with their investment in a fund.
Investments in a strategy
- Open Exness Investor and then browse for a strategy, or use the link or code provided by the Strategy Provider (SP).
- Open your desired strategy and then send a request to join.
- The system checks if your account is fully verified, then sends the SP the request.
- Once approved, the strategy now allows the creation of an investment.
- When you create the investment, specify the amount (in USD) to invest. The amount you can invest is based on what is available in your investment wallet and the investment limits set by the SP. If you do not have sufficient funds, top up your investment wallet. After entering the amount, tap Invest and then confirm the action.
- You will see the message ‘Your investment was opened successfully’ and new trades on the selected strategy will be copied onto your investment using the copy coefficient and current market prices.
- If the market is closed, the trades will be copied with the last market price.
- If it is less than 3 hours before market opening, the ‘start investing’ option is unavailable. You will need to try after the market re-opens.
- If there are no quotes available, you will see an error message and an option to Cancel or Try again.
You have now successfully created an investment in a strategy. We recommend that you learn more about how to manage an investment to find out how to monitor and close your investments.
Please note that under some conditions, strategies may become unavailable for investment, such as if the SP does not have a qualifying trading reliability level (TRL).
Investments in a fund
- To find a fund, you will need a link or code provided to you by the Portfolio Manager (PM).
- Open Exness Investor and search for the fund using the code, or simply use the link to be redirected to the fund in the app.
- Now you can send a request to join the fund. Sign the required document to confirm the join request.
- The system checks if your account is fully verified, then sends a join request to the PM for approval.
- Once approved, the fund becomes available for investing.
- When you create the investment, specify the amount (in USD) to invest. The amount you can invest is based on what is available in your investment wallet and the investment limits set by the PM. If you do not have sufficient funds, top up your investment wallet. After entering the amount, tap Invest and then confirm the action.
Please note closing an investment in a fund can take up to 36 hours as the PM must approve the request manually.
- You will see the message ‘Your investment was opened successfully’ and all trades on the selected fund will be copied onto your investment based on equity share and current market prices.
