About Exness Investor
Exness Investor is a service by which Investors create investments in a strategy or fund. Strategies operate by allowing Investors to copy the trades made by other traders, called Strategy Providers (SP) - if they profit, you profit, it’s as simple as that. Funds operate by pooling the capital of multiple Investors together so that a single trader, called the Portfolio Manager (PM), can trade - profits they make are proportionally distributed to every Investor based on the equity they provide.

Getting started
Signing in
If you already have an account with Exness, choose Sign in and enter your registered email address and Personal Area password to sign in.
Creating a new account
- If you are registering a new account, select your country, choose an email address, set a password and check the button to confirm you are not a US citizen; then set a passcode for unlocking the app and/or set Touch ID fingerprint biometrics.
- Next, you can choose to complete your account verification or do it later. Your account has been successfully created.
If you choose to skip this step, you are not able to join a fund or strategy, and some payment methods will not be available. Completing the account verification process comes highly recommended.
- To complete account verification, tap on the Account icon and click Verify. You will now be asked to enter an active phone number from your country of residence and verify it by entering a 6-digit code sent to your phone. Also, you will need to provide some personal information. Once you complete this, you will be able to make deposits of up to USD 2 000 for 30 days. To remove this limitation, follow the next step to complete full account verification.
- The final stage for full verification is uploading verification documents as proof of identity (POI) and residence (POR) and filling out your economic profile.
You will see a note about the kind of documents and the format that we accept. Please comply with those while making your submission. Also, note that it can take up to 24 hours for each of your documents to be checked by our specialists. Once verified, you will be able to make deposits and start investing.

Please note that strategies and funds can become unavailable based on the trading reliability level (TRL) of the SP or PM managing them.
Below we also share how the performance fee works, and recommend understanding how allocation types compare before making your first investment.
How the performance fee works
When you invest in a strategy or fund, you are able to see the level of performance fee that the strategy/fund has. As the investment starts to become profitable, Investors pay a certain percentage of their earnings to the Strategy Provider (SP) and Portfolio Manager (PM) at the end of that billing period.
No fee will be rendered for loss, and any profits made by a SP or PM subsequently will not garner them fees until that profit exceeds the amount lost previously.
The performance fee is calculated at the end of a typical billing period and takes a number of aspects into calculation. Here is the technical formula that is used to calculate the fee:
Performance Fee (USD) = (Total profit of orders on the investment × Performance fee rate) - Sum of Commission paid for all previous trading periods
The result is rounded down.
