The availability of close requests for fund investments while the market is closed depends on whether the Portfolio Manager (PM) has set a manual or instant allocation method. Learn the considerations when opening investments when the market is closed.
- Close requests are always available. However, the PM cannot approve a close request if there are open orders in the fund and/or while the market is closed.
- Automatic close investment actions only reflect as soon as the market reopens, even after 36 hours.
Important: Whether the market is open or closed, fund investments will not close immediately; either the PM needs to confirm the close request or 36 hours must pass for the investment to close automatically.
Different instruments have different trading hours; read more about them in our article about instrument trading hours.
